Our charity places the highest priority on protecting personal information collected to provide medical help to people in Bangladesh. We only collect what is strictly necessary, handle sensitive health data with explicit consent or another lawful basis, and anonymise information wherever possible to minimise risk. Data is stored securely, access is restricted to trained staff and vetted partners, and any international transfers are governed by contractual safeguards and regular risk assessments. We maintain clear retention schedules, promptly investigate and report breaches, and uphold the rights of beneficiaries and donors to access, correct or request deletion of their data, while ensuring transparency about how information is used to support care and fundraising activities.
